When do you think it’ll be out? I heard so many rumors that I can’t bother to believe any of them.

No operator in Jordan has 3G license yet. 3G has been in discussions since July.
So, iPhone 3G runs on GRPS (in very few areas of Amman it runs on EDGE)
Jordan has no Google Maps yet (since the government has insufficient roads data) and therefore, an iPhone 3G and a 1st-gen iPhone in Jordan have a difference only in shape, headphones jock and loudspeaker volume.
Have you heard when they’ll be releasing the iPhone 3GS here in Jordan? I knew they were releasing it in June-09 when I left America last year, and it’s what I’ve been waiting for.
Plus your contract is awesome compared with AT&T’s in the USA – only one year contract, for just JD20 a month versus 2 years and $80 a month.

We all think we’re going to be great. And we feel a little bit robbed when our expectations aren’t met. But, sometimes, our expectations sell us short.
Sometimes, the expected simply pales in comparison to the unexpected.
You gotta wonder why we cling to our expectations. Because the expected is just what keeps us steady… standing… still. The expected is just the beginning.
The unexpected… is what changes our lives.”

Then can we hope that Apple will finally add Arabic language support to iPhone?
It might have it Ayman.

Let us know when you find something! Thanks!
In Apple’s keynote they said the iPhone 3GS will be released in Jordan in August 2009
