Madonna’s “Hard Candy” Bonus Tracks

It’s just a couple days until Madonna’s new album “Hard Candy” arrives. It gets shipped to me on April 29th!! The album has grown on me some more and I can’t wait for the limited edition that I ordered to arrive (It is a DVD-sized hinged box containing the CD with 2 extra remix tracks, a 16-page full-color booklet, and a package of Starlite Mint candies all in a jewel case width, 8 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inch deep… has hard candy in the package). Here we have various Bonus Tracks included with different versions of the album. They include new track “Ring My Bell” as well as a Paul Oakenfold remix to 2nd single “Give It To Me”, and 2 remixes of “4 Minutes”. Check them out, Enjoy!!

Rant: I hate GE SS Two (The Arabic font you probably spot on 99% of the ads in the Middle East)

I don’t know what to say/how to start… this font is getting on my nerves, alright?

This specific font is becoming the new Naskh and that is not right, check every single ad in the streets of beloved Amman, 99% of the ads have this font as the main type, created by Boutros/Grapheast. What I hate about it is the identity, I saw it on banks, food, awareness, TV… etc! ads.

In some agencies, creative directors and even clients force you to use it. they even use it for guidelines… They use it on everything, Calling people who create guidelines: PLEASE STOP USING THIS FONT!

I had the pleasure of sitting through the most awful clients *silly type of clients* ever. They very unhelpfully change your designs using MS Paint over the low resolution JPEGs or PNGs you previously sent for preview purposes and recommend specific fonts and then ask you to implement that.

Again, it is the tax you pay…
