Students in Jordan: Student Proof Certified Paper, How to!
This is a guide for Dummies (like myself) on how to do get this student proof paper, get it certified and use it for your GCC residencies.
Step by Step
- First, you ask for the paper at your university’s student council, pay 5 JD (used to be 1 JD, thanks to the ministry it is 5 now).
- Second, do not be stupid like me and head up to the Foreign Ministry on the airport road! NO, DO NOT DO THAT! Go to the Ministry of Education located in Jubaiha, behind Jordan University and Royal Scientific Society.
- Inside, go to the right, room 104 to get it audited then go to room 4 to get it stamped and signed and pay 1 JD for that..
- Third step, go to the Foreign Ministry located on the 1st circle, Jabal Amman. Get it certified, signed again and pay 5 JD for the stamp.
and you’re set, last step would be the embassy of the country you’re going to.
What did I do wrong? before doing all of that, I went to the Foreign Ministry on the airport road and paid a taxi 7 JD to go there!

In KSA, it works just fine if you brought any paper from your university that shows your classes for the next semister!

As i remember my universty used to all the certification work for you, all you have to do is fill a form and pay 2JDs and check back again in couple of days.
They intend to do so to make u pay tiny fees in thousands of steps so you will not feel that you are spending alot of money… bullshit.
Maybe if they asked for the total amount they need as one shot would be much easier and faster….!!!! however , i made such a tour, the moral of trip was “oo3ak te3milha ….”
did that last year before going to Dubai, but somebody had told me before where i should go so i was not that lost. but seriously it costs a fortune! wait till you have to pay 40 jds at the UAE embassy…
