“iPod Box Speaker” is the new product of the year, turn your gorgeous iPod Nano or Shuffle plastic box that you probably kept (if you’re into nice packaging) ~ but had little to use it for ~ into a speaker! With Japanese Bird-Electron’s nearly DIY speaker system that recycles your ipod packaging into your portable speaker system.. For Americans check out Audiocubes that has it in stock for $40. The Japanese site, All About, has (what i think is) a review of the speaker over in their men’s style section. Lots of pictures, including one of it installed in a water bottle after the jump! So if you don’t have an ipod box, there are lots of other options to get creative with! via Acquire.

    Apart from recycling the ipod box, the other two are dumb!
    The whole idea behind paper cups is that they’re disposable. I don’t have to clean them, or stick them in the dishwasher. Which many people argue is more waste than throwing the paper cup in the garbage. Oh and for $20 I can buy around 2,000 paper cups! (I actually use them all the time)

    As for the little camera thingie, sure, would you replace your gorgeous iPhone camera with that!? No? I didn’t think so either!
    Imagine doing that to a real 8MP camera or 10, or 12MP ..
