Your contact might be Busy?
One of the facts that I know there are many of you MSN Messenger users who simply adore the “busy” mode, which essentially allows you to appear “busy” while staying online and ignore half the rest of humanity while doing nasty stuff… joking? ok, and no annoying sounds will be played when a new message/reply comes in.
Well, I think the whole “busy” mode thing is bullshit (I used to be one of the busy status fans, now I’m more like away).
Therefore, I hereby declare that I will never use that mode again, and I will refuse to speak to anyone using that mode (yeah, my ass). If you’re busy, you shouldn’t be talking to me at all. If you’re not busy, you shouldn’t be effing lying. Use technology in an honest manner dear. In fact, the abuse has gotten so serious that everyone assumes that everyone else is an effing liar when it comes to online status, so they try and send a message anyway. Come on, which part of “Away” do you not comprehend? Sheesh.Bunch of idiots I’d say.
* A friend of mine sent me a message cheering me up because, my house was going to burn… let me quote some parts that made my day. “Be positive, all that you lost are just STUFF, objects, you are safe and healthy and everyone who meets you loves you, so you have so much to feel better about… don’t feel down please… I always think of you as “Fuck You” attitude sort of person, and that is a push to me… so, I don’t wanna see you down…”

I stopped using msn, If your on my google contact list and I’m checking email and mostly at work I will chat with you might set up a skype time like 1 hour in a week

but that’s the thing you can be busy to some people and not to others. in my opinion busy is just telling people that ‘if i dont answer that means i don’t have time for you right at the moment come back later’. i use the busy sign alot of the time. because to some people on my list i just am doing stuff that is more important than talking to them. and if i answer that means i’m not busy for you at that point and time. It all depends on the kind of ‘busy’ i’m in. cuz sometimes i’m really busy and ignore everyone. so i find the busy status thing helpful to me at least. and i dont get offended when others are using it and dont reply cuz i can’t expect everyone to have the time for me whenever I want it. seriously
