Well, i have read all what you guys said and i'm still convinced that what Deemco said is right, Amino Ramadan is a holy month and it should be respected and tourists wont be starved to death! supermarkets are open 24/7, and as you know for sure Jordan is a mulim country and it do use the islamic law in its courts, so what is going on now is sth not accepted !!!

Oh my God that is GREAT news! I remember that 3-star places and above used to serve drinks but only after the iftar, but this is good! Yallah, the next step is to not make eating in Ramadan illegal (y3ni in open places).

Deemco, I do not see how it is offensive. God did not say there are Muslims and only muslims. In Islam, the concept of force is not valid, what's the use of starving the non-muslim tourists to death? A Muslim who does not fast, will not fast whether they close their places or not. I do not get how people nowadays say "How would we feel if food is served around us?"

If you truly believe in what you're doing, food means nada to you. E.g: If you're convinced smoking is bad to your health, I do not think you will be utterly disturbed that people are smoking around you. So, how exactly is it offensive? Are we not open to diversity?

Ramadan is a holy month and it should be respected. The decent thing to do is to close them during the month of Ramadan. By allowing them to open these places and sell alcohol they are disrespecting Muslims and Islam. I am totally against it. And for the next few years or so Ramadan is going to come during summer "during tourism season" which means that they're also going to allow this next year and the year after and so on. Personally, I find it offensive!
