Censorship in the middle east

I got totally shocked while checking mark’s post on censorship in Lebanon, even Lebanon.. the vice city of the middle east (sick talking) censor media, according to mark “I was at Virgin here in Lebanon checking out the Ingmar Bergman special edition DVD collection when I noticed the box looked like it was missing a DVD. I then noticed a warning label on top which said“, “So it happens even in Lebanon although DVD censorship here is not as common as in Kuwait and is usually left to really controversial stuff.”

Moey’s girsh: Censorship can’t be applied on satellite television, on the Internet, on cassettes, videotapes, and DVD’s, the complaints are piling up. Censorship is dying in the Middle East, and even surveillance is getting harder. Unprecedented criticism is in the air. Die MOI’s.
