and why do I keep comparing the life I had in Kuwait with Jordan, not that I hate it here in Jordan, I love it, my friends, university, nightlife.. at least booze is legal here.. I’m in love with Jabal Amman & Weibdeh with passion!.. and the reason after comparing is.. because I want the best for both Kuwait and Jordan, now I assume that smoking rates in here are waaaaaay more than Kuwait, in population.. check what’s going on in Kuwait lately, specially on all of the Marlboro Lights packs, now they have this 3-fold flap warning attached to them. I’m also aware that Jordan has one of the highest cancer rather in the middle east.

We should have the same warning technique.. or something similar

    man tomorrow they’ll have it where the cigarette squeels out as you fire it ‘I am bad for you!’ just to make sure that you want to smoke it or not…lol

    Moey, have you seen the ciggy packages here? They’ve got a picture of a smoker’s LUNG! How disgusting is that. And, I’m not even a smoker. The reality is that until it becomes societally unacceptable (think the US and small smoker’s display cages in airports), it will continue unabated. I even saw a pack of 10 year olds down by the first circle all smoking… so sad. If I had th Arabic vocab, I would probably have tried talking them out of it…

    Oh, and I lvoe the squealing cigarette idea…

    if they were to ban it all together from Jordan u will find ppl shredding rice and smoking it! its fascinating how much jor/pal ppl smoke! and refuse to quit :|
    and i hear u Moey, when ur used to the gulf, its like u get a rash if ur sniffing another country’s air! :S
