“Borat” opening in Jordan

Sasha Baron Cohen is going to open the movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan in Amman on the 22nd of November, 2006. according to his myspace account, all countries listed in the opening list will have him featuring the opening, luckily Israel, Jordan and Lebanon are mentioned [link]. for people who do not know Borat, read the following or check this [link]: Borat Sagdiyev is a fictional Kazakh journalist invented and portrayed by the British comedian provocateur Sacha Baron Cohen for Da Ali G Show, an unstaged and unscripted show in which Borat interviews people who believe that he is a real Kazakhstani television journalist. Sacha Baron Cohen first presented his foreign reporter concept to Channel 4 in 1994, and within a few years Borat was a popular success.
I found the first 4 minutes of the movie published on youtube as a promotional:

Where did you hear that Borat is opening in Jordan?? Yesterday I heard that the Jordanian Government is actually considering NOT showing the movie and even banning the DVD to express our solidarity and stance with our Kazakhistani brothers and sisters.

Seriously now…I just checked today’s newspaper (Nov. 22) and no menion of Borat the Movie. Any ideas?
